Strength To Stand Through The Storm
Sometimes God's answer is not immediate deliverance from the storm but strength to remain standing faithfully through it.
Scripture
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Truth
God gives His people strength to stand faithfully even when He does not immediately remove the storm.
Insight
- Not every breakthrough comes through the immediate removal of a difficult circumstance.
- There are seasons when faithfulness means continuing to stand while the storm remains.
- God's strength enables believers to endure circumstances they cannot change.
- Standing through a trial is itself an expression of faith when a believer continues trusting God.
- A difficult season does not mean that God has abandoned His people.
Application
- Do not assume that God has failed because your circumstances have not changed.
- Ask God for strength to remain faithful in the middle of the trial.
- Continue praying, obeying, and trusting God while you wait.
- Stand firm rather than allowing hardship to make you abandon your faith.
