A city in the plain of Jordan associated with Sodom and the account of Lot.
Biblical Usage
In Scripture, Gomorrah was a city associated with Sodom and the cities of the plain.
It was destroyed together with Sodom because of the wickedness of its inhabitants.
Gomorrah is also used in later Scripture as a reference to the judgment of the city.
