What Is a Static QR Code?

A static QR code contains the destination URL directly. When someone scans it, their device opens that URL without needing a QR code service or redirect.

Static QR codes do not depend on a subscription or scan limit. As long as the destination URL remains available, the QR code can continue to be used.

PNG or SVG?

Error Correction

Error correction allows a QR code to remain readable even when part of the code is damaged or obscured.

The generator provides four levels:

  • Low (L) — approximately 7% recovery.
  • Medium (M) — approximately 15% recovery.
  • Quartile (Q) — approximately 25% recovery.
  • High (H) — approximately 30% recovery.

For printed materials, a higher error-correction level can be useful when the QR code may experience wear or partial obstruction.

No. This generator creates static QR codes.
