Beyond The Outward Appearance
The woman at Jesus' feet was seen by the religious leaders according to her outward condition, while Jesus saw a deeper picture connected with Israel's relationship with God.
Scripture
Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
Truth
What people see outwardly does not reveal the whole spiritual condition of a person or people before God.
