Scripture

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:10

Truth

Believers are called to live for God's purpose and faithfully carry out the good works He has given them to do.

Insight

  • Life should be understood in relation to God's purpose rather than merely personal comfort or achievement.
  • Difficult circumstances do not automatically mean that a believer's purpose has ended.
  • The desire to leave this life should not replace the responsibility to continue serving God while He gives us life.
  • God's people are called to use their lives to serve His purposes and impact others.
  • Remaining alive and available to God means continuing to do the work He has given us.

Application

  • Ask God how you can faithfully serve Him where you are.
  • Do not abandon your purpose because of disappointment or hardship.
  • Use your time, abilities, and opportunities for God's glory.
  • Continue faithfully in the work God has entrusted to you.
