A Simple Christian Budget: Tithe, Saving, and Living
A Simple Christian Budget
Managing money can be hard.
You may want to do the right thing.
You may want to give your tithe, save money, and use what you have wisely.
But without a clear plan, it is easy to forget or lose track.
This is a simple Christian budget you can follow every month.
My Story
This idea came from my own life.
There were times I forgot to give my tithe.
Not because I did not care, but because I had no clear plan.
I also wanted to help others, even with a small income.
But I was not consistent.
At home, I would tell my wife that we should set aside money for different purposes.
But without structure, we often ended up using it for something else.
Over time, I began to see the problem.
It was not a lack of desire.
It was a lack of a simple and clear system.
So I started planning a simple way to divide my income each month.
Something easy to follow.
Something I could repeat without confusion.
That is how this plan started.
I believe every good idea comes from God.
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above…” — James 1:17
This is not a perfect system.
But it has helped me stay more consistent.
And maybe it can help someone else too.
A Simple Budget Plan
This is the plan:
- 10% Tithe (to the church)
- 5% Help others
- 5% Emergency fund
- 10% Future saving (optional)
- 70% Living
Future saving is optional. You can adjust it based on your situation.
Why This Simple Budget Works
This plan works because it is:
- Simple
- Clear
- Easy to repeat every month
“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” — 1 Corinthians 4:2
You do not need a complex system.
You need a clear one.
Think About This
- Do you have a clear plan for your money?
- Do you give your tithe regularly?
- Do you know where your money goes each month?
You may already have good intentions.
But without a clear plan, it is easy to lose track.
A simple structure can make a big difference over time.
A Simple Way to Start
If you want to try this approach, you can use this simple tool.
You can enter your income and see how it is divided.
You can also track your funds month by month.
There is no pressure.
Use it if it helps you stay consistent.
A Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for what You have given me.
Help me to be faithful with it.
Teach me to give, save, and live wisely.
Amen.
